With the books we will include a Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them leather book mark. This is another paragraph Book Description: As featured in the first year set texts reading list in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is an extensive introduction to the magical beasts that exist in the magical, non-Muggle world. Some of the animals featured in the A-Z you will have already met in the existing Harry Potter books: for example Hippogriff, Flobberworm, Kappa - others you certainly won't: read on to find out exactly what a Chizpurfle is, why there are so few Erumpents, or why one should always beware of the sinister Lethifold. As Albus Dumbledore says in his introduction, this set text book by Newt Scamander has given the perfect grounding to many a Hogwarts student. It will be helpful to all Muggles out there too. On reading the book you will also find that Harry, Ron and (in one instance) Hermione - couldn't resist grafittiing the book, and adding their own personal hand-written opinions. This is another paragraph Book Description: Did you know that : there are 700 ways of committing a foul in Quidditch? The game first began to evolve on Queerditch Marsh - What Bumphing is? That Puddlemere United is oldest team in the Britain and Ireland league (founded 1163). All this information and much more could be yours once you have read this book: this is all you could ever need to know about the history, the rules - and the breaking of the rules - of the noble wizarding sport of Quidditch.

Hard Cover. Condition: Fine (see description). Dust Jacket Condition: Fine (see description). Thomas Taylor; Cliff Wright; Giles Greenfield; Jason Cockcroft Cover Art (illustrator). See Description. -----------( 1st and later printings of the RAINCOAST hardcovers ---FIRST issue with all 7 VOLUMES in a SLIPCASE ) ---7 volumes (ONE SHIPPING PRICE although this heavy set may require additional postage charges depending upon destination --if an issue please inquire before ordering ), hardcovers, the complete original Harry Potter series all in Raincoast editions all in a RAINCOAST/BLOOMSBURY SLIPCASE---the RAINCOAST editions are identical in format to the UK editions and uses BRITISH spelling and grammar ---, ---all volumes are Fine examples, all in Near Fine/Fine dustjackets, a wee bit of very slight rubbing to some jackets, ----THIS scarce set in slipcase looks new ---the slipcase looks new although there is one short crack on one edge (see scan), ---STONE( number line shows this as the 17th printing but it is actually the 16th Canadian printing as the true Canadian First had a number line that started with a 2 ) is the 1st CORRECTED edition from Raincoast, previous printings had a couple of errors which were tidied up in this 17th printing,--- PRISONER is a First Revised edition, I cannot verify this but my feeling is the revisions in PRISONER were minor grammatical or word changes, BUT there are also changes to the jacket and flaps from earlier printings (mostly blurbs are changed on flaps and covers ) ---all are later printings except for PRINCE and HALLOWS which are 1st printings, ---no date as to when this 7 volume set was issued but it was likely 2007 or 2008 when HALLOWS was released, ---a VERY scarce SLIPCASED set, ---PLEASE NOTE: ALL 7 volumes have hada hi-quality mylar protector put onto the jackets, the books still fit into the slipcase but they are quite tight now so would need to be removed carefully to avoid tearing any spine tips, ---any image directly beside this listing is the actual book and not a generic photo ///NOT SIGNED ---GUARANTEED to be AVAILABLE/// ---sizes are approximate (generally within 1/8 inch)--- Size: 5.25w x 8h Inches. Hard Cover. Condition: Fine (see description). Dust Jacket Condition: Fine (see description). Thomas Taylor; Cliff Wright; Giles Greenfield; Jason Cockcroft Cover Art (illustrator). First Edition. ------------( all are 1st printings of the First Raincoast Editions ) ----7 volumes comprising the original SEVEN Harry Potter books, hardcovers, all are about 5.25w x 8h inches, the complete Harry Potter series all in Raincoast editions, all are Near Fine/Fine examples with some possibly being unread, all in Near Fine/Fine dustjackets, - all in uniform format and size, all with decorated boards except for STONE and CHAMBER which were issued with plain boards (in the 1st printings ---all subsequent printings of STONE and CHAMBER have decorated boards), a nice set that looks quite new and would make a dandy gift for a PotHead, some volumes are showing a bit age toning to the paper, ---all books have a complete number line beginning with a "1" EXCEPT for STONE which has a number line beginning with a "2" which in this case indicates a 1st Canadian printing, THERE ARE NO RAINCOAST EDITIONS of STONE with a number line beginning with a "1" in this original format (duplicating the UK Bloomsbury design), furthermore when Raincoast issued STONE (and CHAMBER at the same time ) there were a limited number of copies of STONE issued with a signed BLOOMSBURY bookplate, this copy has that signed plate on the blank page facing the half title page, this first printing of STONE from RAINCOAST is extremely rare and even moreso with the ROWLING signed plate ----STONE contains two errors which were corrected in later printings of this book: Line 1, page 8 has "highchair" instead of "high chair"; and on page 53 in the list of "Other Equipment" needed for Hogwart's School, " 1 wand " is listed twice ---errors that were corrected in later printings, as well the upper portion of the spine and the rear panel show the young wizard ---a nice set with all dustjackets in hi-quality mylar protectors,---the RAINCOAST editions are identical in format to the UK editions and uses BRITISH spelling and grammar ---, ---I suspect that this will be the only 1st edition set I ever have to offer---, any image directly beside this listing is the actual book and not a generic photo /// SIGNED (one book) ---GUARANTEED to be AVAILABLE/// ---sizes are approximate (generally within 1/8 inch) ---NO DISCOUNT AVAILABLE---SOLD as a SET only ------ An order from outside of the US or Canada cannot be accepted due to the impossibility of satisfying the necessary export requirements and documentation ---apologies for this----, Size: 5.25w x 8h Inches.
