Book First Edition Signed
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Illustrated by J.A. Ford (illustrator). 1st Edition. Inscribed & signed "George R. Carpenter" to upper corner, verso of half-title page. "First printing, 1975." Two-inch closed tear to bottom of dust jacket front panel. Not exactly "The Joy of Sex," but presumably an improvement over storks and cabbage patches. The "facts of life," illustrated in a manner unlikely to offend much of anybody, all in sepia. Dr. Carpenter was a professor of sociology and a practicing marriage and family counselor; his wife was managing director of a child-care center. Sex education storybook. 36 pp. Reduced from $16. Inscribed by Author(s).
