As I read books one and two of the Sir Kaye series I felt I was being humorously entertained and educated about human relations. Every turn of events in Sir Kaye's life taught a lesson. Don Winn breathes life into his characters as they maneuver in a very realistic way through, the unexpected perils of Medieval life. Sir Kaye and his energetic friends maintain their sense of humor as well as their zest for life even though they are ruthlessly harassed by hateful opponents. The reader shares in Sir Kaye's triumph's and failure's. Although the books are intended for a junior audience, I was left with the feeling that the world today could be a better place if more adults applied the concepts of chivalry
