About the Author:
Caoilinn Hughes was born in Galway, Ireland in 1985. With BA and MA degrees from the Queen's University of Belfast, she moved to New Zealand, where she worked for Google, ran a business, and completed a Ph.D. in English Literature at Victoria University of Wellington. A selection of poems from her first book, Gathering Evidence, won the 2012 Patrick Kavanagh Award, and the book won the 2015 Irish Times Strong/Shine Award. She also writes fiction and is Visiting Writer at Maastricht University in The Netherlands.
