About the Author:
Piper Terrett is a journalist, author and speaker lives with her husband Douglas and pet chickens in Essex. She writes The Essex Life blog which follows their adventures as they try to pursue a greener lifestyle. A former FT Group journalist, Piper is also author of The Frugal Life: How to spend less and live more (Good Life Press: 2009) and Bedroom DJ: A Beginner’s Guide (Omnibus Press: 2003) and is writing a new book on green tips for businesses for Gibson Square Press. In October 2009 she was crowned Green Voice of the UK by the Energy Saving Trust. In her spare time she writes crime fiction.
