Review:
These poems are rich with memory, peopled by fascinating characters, and styled in such satisfying and rhythmic music that we may indulge repeatedly in the pleasure of surprise, the gift of an honest, earnest wisdom. Norman Weinstein here shares vividly a life attentively lived. --Arthur Stringer, Author, Channel Markers
This delightful new collection ranges from a dancing Chihuahua to ancient ruins, from free verse to sonnets. Here are poems utterly accessible, their insights readily illuminating life as it is and should be. --Manette R. Berlinger, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Academic Literacy, Retired, CCNY
Whatever the poetic device Norman Weinstein uses to view the world, we recognize the emotion in each of many instances: the student pilot s solo, the woman whose canary has escaped, a teenager s failed love. --Edward Silberfarb, Former Editor, Columbia Journalism School Alumni Association Journal
