Annie Elizabeth is a lifelong scholar of contemporary philosophy and an avid practitioner of New Thought spirituality. Born into a medical family, she is a visionary author and poet who assists authors of spiritual and self-help books to publish their work. She is a practitioner of Pranic Healing, or healing with life force energy. Annie Elizabeth earned two master's degrees: the first in Biology and the second in Teaching English as a Second Language. She was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship, living and working for four years in Sri Lanka and Japan, where she immersed herself in Buddhist thought and practice. Her interest in health and healing then led her to Stanford School of Medicine, where she recently retired after nineteen years as director of the office of curriculum. Annie Elizabeth ran the bookstore and served for four years on the board of Unity Church of Fremont. She leads a Women's Empowerment Circle in her home town of Felton, California, where she and her husband enjoy creating and facilitating ceremony for special occasions including property blessing, memorial, wedding, newborn blessing, transition (adoption), solstice and other seasonal gatherings at their home The River Sanctuary.
