Bob Hartman has written many books for children, including Augsburg’s BROTHER GABRIEL AND THE SECRET OF CHRISTMAS, BIBLE BAD GUYS and MORE BIBLE BAD GUYS...AND GALS. He lives with his family in Wiltshire, England.

Lynne Cravath can’t wait to share this book with the kids in her Sunday school class and their families. Hartman raises the curtain on an inventive and heartwarming adaptation of the Nativity story. As the family gathers at Granny Mae's for Christmas dinner, they learn that they will be starring in a homemade holiday pageant, complete with lines and costumes. Despite some initial reluctance, children and grown-ups alike soon find that Granny Mae's enthusiasm and respect for her faith are contagious and happily reenact Jesus's miraculous arrival.
